The Lansdown Open Gardens held on Sunday June 19th was a very successful event despite some light rain later in the afternoon. Over 240 visitors viewed seven remarkable gardens across Lansdown and had a range of delicious cakes to enjoy with their tea and coffee on the Millennium Green. The plant and produce sale on the Millennium Green did a roaring trade with people making purchases from a wide selection of plants.
The event raised over £2100 towards the upkeep of the Millennium Green. Many thanks to all the garden owners who very kindly opened their gardens up to visitors. Many thanks also to all the helpers on the day who ensured a very successful event.
